Art for Alzheimer’s

LENOX – The work of more than two dozen established artists from the Berkshire region will be on sale to benefit Alzheimer’s disease research, beginning with a reception on Friday, Oct. 16 at Kimball Farms Life Care Community in Lenox. A variety of media, including photography, painting, prints, fiber arts and ceramics will be featured from creators such as Stephanie Anderson, Margaret Butuche, Michael Cohen, Pamela Dalton, Keith Davidson, Mary Davidson, Ann Getsinger, Julio Granda, Kate Knapp, Liz Marino, Susan Smith, Scott Taylor, Michael Wolski and Ashley Wood. The reception for the free art show, “Art for Alzheimer’s,” will be held on Oct. 16 from 3:30-5 p.m. at Kimball Farms, 235 Walker St., Lenox, and the art will be on sale and available through Friday, Nov. 20. The art exhibit will coincide with the Berkshire Walk to End Alzheimer’s, which will be held on Saturday, Oct. 17. For more information about the walk, visit act.alz.org.
