Meet Candidates for Mount Greylock Regional School Committee

About this event

The Williamstown League of Women Voters will host a forum for candidates for the Mount Greylock Regional School Committee on Thursday, October 22, at 7pm, at Sweetwood Independent Living’s auditorium, 1611 Cold Spring Road.

There are six candidates for four positions – two from Williamstown and two from Lanesborough – to be voted on at the November 3rd election. The League’s Jennifer Howlett will moderate the forum. Voters in each town will vote for two candidates from both towns.

Because of miscommunication between the district and the Secretary of State’s office, the names of candidates will not appear on the ballot and will need to be written in. Voters will need to write in names and addresses of preferred candidates and also completely fill in the oval next to each name they’re voting for.

Candates running for two available seats from Williamstown are:

Laurel Bifano, 71 Cole Ave., Williamstown, MA 01267

Carolyn Green (incumbent), 229 Bridges Road, Williamstown, MA 01267

Steven Miller (incumbent), 16 John St., Williamstown, MA 01267

Candidates running for two available seats from Lanesborough are:

Curtis Elfenbein (incumbent), 34 Summer St., Lanesborough, MA 01237

Jodi Sczepaniak-Locke, 21 Stormview Road, Lanesborough, MA 01267
